- Bay rum essential oil in this soap is known to boost blood circulation, to relieve muscle and joint pain, and has antimicrobial and astringent properties.
- The ground calendula petals release their anti-flammatory, antibacterial properties during saponification, making the finished soap excellent for helping to heal acne, breakouts, razor bumps, razor cuts.
- It is said that the bay leaf used in cooking, is from an unrelated species, not from the West Indian bay tree.
